My grandmother Charlotte Vitchiski was born in 1913 in Mahanoy City, PA. She was given the name Casimir Jeanette Widzicki (St. Casimir's day was her birthday, thus the naming - or was that not really her birthday???), but I don't think she was ever called that. When she was little, she was usually called "Cashmere" - and then changed to Charlotte as a teenager. She died in 1999.
